Re: M4/3 for birding

Hi,

I've been using a GX85 with the Panasonic 100-300 mm. for birding for the past 6 months.

Overall, a very positive experience. I'm enjoying birding this year like never before.

You can see many of my pictures in https://twitter.com/hipogrito

As others have pointed out, my setting is not the best for birds in flight. The autofocus is a little iffy (but good for the price) on the GX85 in that situation.

I really like the 100-300 mm  because you can get good pictures and the price is really good and the setting is very light.

But, I wish I had a 400 mm. because sometimes I just get a little too short and need to crop too much. But, $1500 for the 400 mm's (Oly Zuiko or Pana Leica) is right now above my wife-factor level.

Regards,

Fran
