Question for you guys. Is the D850 normally slow with screw drive lenses? Went to camera store and popped my Nikkor 105 f2 and the AF was darn slow in AF-S. Not snappy at all. I was really surprised because supposedly the D850 has REALLY good AF. I thought the D850 would be snappier than my D4 but that wasn't the case.

Is there a particular setting that I should check and change in the menu? I can go back to the store any time and play around with that.

Thanks for the help.

No such setting exist, the af speed is set by the motor they use in the lens , my 200/4 D is the slowest af lens I’ve ever seen , even on the D4S it still focuses at the same speed, slow
