The Bridges of Little Rock

A few years ago, I was doing some work in Little Rock, Arkansas and brought my x-t20 along. Little Rock is a nice small city with an interesting downtown. I focused my attention on two bridges spanning the Arkansas River. The first is near the Clinton Presidential Library, and the second is in the middle of downtown. Both are drawbridges. This series was done with the XF35/2 and a Pentax M50/1.7.

'At our best and most fortunate we make pictures because of what stands in front of the camera, to honor what is greater and more interesting than we are. We never accomplish this perfectly, though in return we are given something perfect -- a sense of inclusion. Our subject thus redefines us, and is part of the biography by which we want to be known.' --Robert Adams, Why People Photograph
