That’s the heavier mk2, not the mk3

$6000 vs 1kg weight savings. Same pictures.

Yes, that 1kg makes a big difference.

To many people, so does having an extra $6000

By that logic, why buy a camera at all... think of all the money you save...

Now you are just being absurd. I guess you would also say buying a used BMW instead of a new one means you might as well just ride a skateboard?

Seems to me you are now the one using absurd arguments. What does 'used vs new' have to do with the argument about weight savings?

That wasn't the last argument i replied to. The last argument was only about saving money.  And then he replied, "why buy a camera at all "

Whether or not anyone considers 1kg less worth $6,000 is an individual choice that has do do with personal preferences and most certainly financial means. Nevertheless, it is a legitimate trade-off either way. If you consider the money more important than the weight, that's perfectly fine. However, it seems only fair to acknowledge that some people may consider the 1kg difference more important, and that their viewpoint would be equally valid.

Exactly as I said a couple posts back. My exact statement was "1kg vs $6000" meaning you get to chose which is important. So I don't think we are disagreeing at all.
