The EC 15-45 is lite weight because of all the plastic and also small. A big advantage this lens has is the OIS. It is also inexpensive at about $150 US used. Spending more of your money and in line with the 15-45 is the kit lens 18-55. At 18mm it is F2.8 but rapidly shuts down to 4.0.

If you’re going wide, the 23 F1.4 is a lovely lens. Doesn’t focus as fast or quietly as the F2 but optically a better lens. Better bokeh. Heavier and more expensive too. As suggested earlier, the 35 lens is too close of a field of view to the 50.

I aspire to be a wedding photographer after covid. Kevin Mullins is British Fuji wedding photographer I admire. He uses only two lenses at a wedding. The 23 & 56 1.4 lenses on different bodies.

Please let us know what lens you selected and share some images.
