I can get an Olympus E-M10 II with kit lens (14-42EZ) for 230 euros or an E-M10 III body only for 250.

I was looking at an E-M10 mainly to use with my old 20mm 1.7 lens that I got ages ago for the GH1. Perhaps also with the Panasonic 30 mm macro.

Those of you who have first-hand experience with both, which one is more fun to use?

I have both the original E-M10 and the MkII. I would not even consider the MkIII, some of the functions I rely on were disabled in the MkIII.

If you are only ever going to use the default settings and modes then the MkIII may be worth considering. I certainly would not pay more for a camera with less functionality.
