I can get an Olympus E-M10 II with kit lens (14-42EZ) for 230 euros or an E-M10 III body only for 250.

I was looking at an E-M10 mainly to use with my old 20mm 1.7 lens that I got ages ago for the GH1. Perhaps also with the Panasonic 30 mm macro.

Those of you who have first-hand experience with both, which one is more fun to use?

Without a doubt get the III.  The camera handles much better due to the improved grip.  You'll hear some complain about the 'plastic' construction vs the II.  Ignore them it is fine.  Also some will complain about some aspects being dumbed down vs the II.  Ignore them also.  The III does  a fine job at its mission which is a basic lightweight camera.  It's not a do it all camera in any version.
