In this case, this may be the best advice given in this thread. The photographer must understand the basic operation of the available modes in order to make proper choices. The PASM modes on the RX10IV are not different than other makes or models of cameras. A rudimentary knowledge is required. The Program mode of this camera does seem to be capable of making some very good decisions based on focal length and lighting. Get the focus right and you're on the way to a good photo.
