I used to have an FA for a short while some time ago. Silver, if I remember correctly. Funny thing is that I never noticed the top plate was not made of metal.

I used my FA for several years, until I went digital, and when the silver-colored layer was scratched off at the corners, it was pretty obvious that there was plastic underneath.
