No I didn’t find a Burzynski head.

I just realized I already had two of them:

one takes the form of the 75mm cup and ball leveling base I use in the apex of my ProMediaGear TR344L tripod

and the other is the 100mm cup and Ball leveling base in my ancient Gitzo 410 tripod.

All that matter is if the gear suits your need or not.

For the rigidity of the Burzynski head, this is a good substitute. For ergonomics, it isn't even close. If the lack in ergonomic matter or not, is about how one use the tripod. For me a half-ball-in-a-bowl-leveling-base is no substitute of the Burzynski head.

I have bolted my Burzynski head into the 100mm bowl of a Vinten-tripod for low center of gravity.
