Why don't superzoom cameras like p1000 use color splitter

Main drawback of color splitter system -- big bulk.  This is a major issue when lens used is  small like "nifty fifty".  A big lens such as 100x zoom dwarfs any size issue with color splitter.
At such point, increasing lens aperture by 1.4x (to match color splitter light gathering efficiency vs singly bayer CFA sensor) would require much more bulk than color splitter.
