But thankfully there are third party lenses such as sigma and viltrox.

The EF-S lens lineup has some of the best crop sensor lenses ever made. The EF-S 55-250 IS STM is still the most used lens on my X-E3.

If Canon can translate some of that lineup into RF lenses then the RF Rebel will be a very attractive option.

If they can manage the software correctly then they don't even need to adjust the mount, just automatically set all the Full Frame cameras into Crop mode when an APS-C lens is attached.
