The 8-25mm f/4.0 PRO lens looks like a real winner. Not as fast as the f/2.8 zooms, but fast enough with a constant aperture, weather sealed, and built like a tank. With an amazingly useful range.

It looks like a perfect companion for the 12-45mm f/4.0 PRO lens. Which makes me wonder if we need a constant f/4.0 aperture 40-150mm PRO lens to round out the trio.

Right now there is a huge gap between the 40-150mm kit lens and the fast f/2.8 PRO version. With the later weighing and costing five times more than the former. Do we need something to fill the gap between the two?

Would you like to see a third constant aperture f/4.0 PRO lens to round out the holy trinity for f/4.0 zoom lenses?

Perhaps an excellent weather sealed 40-150mm f/4.0 PRO lens that cost around $700 and weighed around 500 grams?

Thanks for your response!

Not a 40-150mm F4, but a 40-200mm F4 with IS would be a nice addition.

IE a 3 lens kit - 8-25mm F4, 40-200mm F4, 300mm F4 prime.

I would like to see a 17-60mm F1.4 or something like that.
