Any feedback will be appreciated.

...and that's what I gave you. Dude

Is it a camera or a museum piece?

It's a camera that maybe one day in the future I will want to sell back on eBay. And no, this "cool worn out badass piece of gear" value point doesn't exist there.

Sorry dude, but your input on what you're concerned of is your personal thing, I'm not discussing that. I am concerned for the aforementioned reason, my paint-coated camera got noticeably worn out after few weeks of usage, hence I want a solution I'm asking if doing nothing would serve the purpose or if the polycarbonate body gets some visible, de-valuing scratch no matter what.

Cheers

Not sure if you read my entire message. Read again where I mentioned the Kirk plate and quick disconnect. The plate covers a good portion of the base, little opportunity for the BR carabiner to make contact. And, with it being a quick disconnect it's simple to go from strap to tripod.

Yes, I read it and yes... point taken, you gave me a feedback. Sorry for my partial answer, you sounded like the camera wearing out is not an issue for you no matter what solution you adopt. Peace!
