very good point. I see rumours of an A7IV coming in the Autumn but unfortunately I can't wait that long to buy this camera. I've read about better weather sealing and a higher guaranteed shutter count on the a7riii too so I think I'm settled on that. I spend a lot of time shooting in the rain.

i always use the electronic shutter for timelapses (I assume the a7r3 has one as well). I had a mechanical shutter fail in the past so i prefer to only use it for when its really necessary
