Dear Jimmy:

Congratulations on your V purchase.

I’ve read many of the reviews and want to purchase the V too. As hard as it is, I’m opting to skip this iteration. Have the S and T so I understand the pleasure surrounding this body. I’m holding out for IBIS. My guess is the VI will have this feature in a couple years.

I recently purchased an used T30. Not as much fun as the V I suppose. I think it is smaller and liter than the V. Already have the lenses I want and use.

Sometimes Fuji makes life so difficult. They upgrade their bodies and I want the new model. It is hard to say no and have no mean no. I will exercise self discipline and won’t purchase any new bodies until I do.

Enjoy your new V.It looks like a lot of fun to own. Thank you for sharing your new V images.

Mask on Nurse Marty

Hi Nurse Marty --- thank you for your medical service in these difficult times. I wrestled with the IBIS issue, also, having lost many shots in dimly lit European churches and cathedrals and in low nighttime light (like this one - though not taken with my X100). The way I've dealt with it is to provide for minimum 1/60 shutter speed and let ISO and aperture take care of themselves. The fast lens on the X100 series helps here. Every camera has compromises, but I decided the fun side and performance in these X100 models, together with my workaround, balances the no IBIS question for me.
