Like I mentioned upthread, I don’t know if anyone outside of Microsoft really knows what the “hardware compliance check” it’s skipping would have otherwise been looking for.

On the TPM front, it would be interesting to know if people who get 11 running as a VM on desktop(ish) machines are doing so on host systems that already meet the TPM requirement.

I'm running Windows 11 on my TrueNAS server so BSD underneath and bhyve virtualization.  I do not have TPM nor any form of Direct X graphics and it's nice and snappy.
