I've never used i-launcher. I get all my firmware updates from this excellent resource;

The firmware often comes as a compressed file, un-pack it first before copying the 'bin' file on the 'root' of your memory card. Beware, they look very similar, make sure you have one and only one 'bin' file on you memory card at any one time. Also make sure it's the correct one. You don't want to 'brick, the camera or the lens. I delete my 'bin' file as soon as I've updated. When you go via the menu to update the firmware, the camera will recognise if you have a newer version of the firmware and will ask if you want to update. Make sure you have a fully charged battery before proceeding.

It really is very simple, don't be put off by my long-winded explanation.

Hope this helps.

Wahid, how do you download the files? If I click on the link all I get is this;
