I agree with stonesfan that the 16-85 would be a good choice. Those extra 2 mm on the wide end really make a difference. However, the f3.5-5.6 isn't any help over your 18-140 for low light. From what I read, the newer 16-80 2.8-4 would be a good choice, too, but at a distinctly higher price. I suggest you run a search in this forum for the Sigma 17-50/2.8 to see if you like what users say about it.

If you want wider than 16 mm, the 10-20 would fit, but the 4.5-5.6 will disappoint in low light. However, getting good low light capability in wider lenses tends to get expensive.
