Adding a telephoto to the R6

Hi All,

I just bought the R6 with the RF 24-105 f/4 L and the RF 50 f/1.8 as an upgrade from my 13 years old 40D. Then, I ran out of money haha.
I plan to learn the camera and enjoy the new setup for the next few months after which I will want to add a telephoto to the setup, so I can shoot wildlife.
Initially, I was thinking of going RF 100-500, but considering:
- Its price (These are AUS$4900)
- The 'issue' with the IS not parking
I am now considering going with the EF 100-400 ii with the adaptor (AUS$3000)
I know a lot of you are saying that if you already have the EF 100-400 ii, then maybe it's not worth upgrading, but what do you think of buying an EF lens for an RF system?
From what I have researched, it performs just fine and I should not worry at all, but maybe there are things I may be overlooking.

PS - I have looked in this forum and while there have been a few comparesments between the two I could not find an answer to this, so apologies if I missed it.
