Re: Help a newbie with E-M10 Mark II focus

Using single AF before with facial recognition, I never had to focus pressing the shutter halfway before taking a video for as good focus, the camera handled that nicely.

Since the camera is back from support I cannot get a decent focus without half-pressing the shutter button every single time

Assuming you still use S-AF with face detection, do you have to aim the camera at the subject in addition to half-pressing the shutter button? I so, maybe you're currently using only a few focus points whereas in the past all of them were active?

p.s. Note that more E-M10 users are active in the Micro Four Thirds forum section, so you may get more, better and faster answers there.
