I didn't find it listed in Kadlubeks lens catalogue.

My guess is that it's a post-1990 rebranding of a Japanese lens by the new owner of the Pentacon name.

This from Wikipedia: "Investor Heinrich Manderman, who had previously been involved in resurrecting lensmaker Schneider Kreuznach, purchased the rights to the Pentacon brands and several portions of its assets, including the former military production building in Dresden. The company was re-established as Pentacon GmbH, a member of the Jos. Schneider group."

Manderman was also in charge of Beroflex, which was specialized in re-branding and marketing (mostly) Japanese lenses. Someone's guess of Chinon is fairly likely.
