Odd M50 / Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Behaviour
2

I'm becoming a bit dissatisfied with the performance of my M50 and the 11-22mm EF-M lens. I primarily use it for video / vlogging.

I'm just not convinced the image stabilisation (note I only use lens stabilisation) is doing anything - it may even be proving a problem - but I'll admit I could be paranoid and I'm in no way an expert.

The problem I have is the lens doesn't seem to stabilise much, but that just may be a thing (it's not bad if its pointed at my face with auto-focus) but, more importantly, it seems to have this crazy see-saw effect when pointed at general scenery, where it keeps tilting the horizon down on the left and the right in rapid succession.

This is really odd - pretty sure it didn't use to do it.

Has anyone experienced this? Am I best posting a video (if so I can upload and link)?
