RP plus RF 24-240 at the zoo

Spent a couple hours at the local zoo yesterday with the Family. Taking advantage of some opportunities to practice. Particularly with manual focus using the magnification aid through netting and other foreground materials.

Thanks for looking.

Nobody here but us Monkey’s.

Getting bored with us gawkers. A well timed yawn!

Mama Wallaby has a baby in her pouch, but no peaking today.

Ring tailed lemur through netting.

Red Panda’s born this year. Out and having fun!

Over the fence, through the net, taking advantage of the articulating screen.

This is not a mirror. I got photo-bombed by this Tucan’s cell mate!

ISO 16,000 just using DPP4 for noise reduction. Downloaded a trial of Topaz Denoise, but I’m just not seeing what it does maybe I’m not using it right. Seems to make the original look worse, then recover making me think it does something. It does muddy the background removing some noise.

A rescue Eagle. Can no longer fly. This is through netting which is driving some of the softness.
