Insects in Flight

Question for R5 and R6 users: Have you had a chance to catch an insect in flight, like a dragonfly perhaps? Bees and butterflies are relatively easy especially when hovering around a flower. Dragonflies are just way too fast, it seems. They seem to move in rapid spurts or bursts.

Yet after an hour of trying today, I was able to do it with my R6. Didn't bring my laptop so I can't share the image until a couple of days later. It was challenging but fun!

Any tips from those who may have been doing this for long? I have no tip to offer. I felt like I just got lucky and that the R6 as a focusing beast helped me a lot.
