Sightseeing in a nearby town

I had mentioned in a prior thread about visiting a small town to the south of me...well, not really a small town at all; just feeling a little mischievous. We have a young nephew visiting from the north and my Daughter and I thought it would be nice to hop on the elevated and show him around. One of our destinations was a Starbucks Roastery, one of only six in the world and a sure way to spend way more for coffee than any sane person should. Very impressive place though. After that we took a look in a 4 story Nike store and then a walk along the river, aptly named "the river walk"; clever people here for sure. Anyway, here's a sampling of the day.

Elevated train platform, colorful building.

Roaster distribution tower

Top floor, Where's the coffee?

Words of wisdom

lunch time

Two iconic buildings, Wrigley Bldg center left and Tribune Tower center right

Wabash ave draw bridge, one of many

Another icon, Marina City
