Redmi Note 10 Pro versus Nikon D750 (Just for fun)

I recently bought a Redmi Note 10 Pro following the many favourable online reviews and due to its 'bang for the buck' factor (120hz OLED screen, 108MB camera sensor, 5,000ma/h battery, etc, for less than US300).

No complaints using the Redmi as a regular phone, but I was curious to see how photos taken with its 108MB sensor would compare with those from my trusty old Nikon D750 DSLR.

This is not a scientific test, so the subject framing differs due to sensor aspect ratios, camera movements between shots and slight cropping. The goal was to see how the 2 cameras would perform in real-world situations.

A: Nikon D750, with Sigma Art 24-105, ISO50, 1/160 sec. f/8 24 mm
24MB RAW, minimally processed in Lightroom to best reflect what I saw on the day). WB set to 5500K (daylight). Output to sRGB at 5.2MB.

B: Redmi Note 10 Pro (Main lens 108MB, with output binned to 12MB in-camera), ISO43, 1/640 sec. f/1.9 6.04 mm
2.9MB SOOC JPEG with no post-processing, using GCAM8.1 in-camera

C: Redmi Note 10 Pro, ISO43,1/640 sec. f/1.9 6.04 mm
16MB RAW, minimally processed in Lightroom. WB set to 5500K (daylight). Output to sRGB at 5.2MB

To try get the best out of the Redmi and the DSLR, I used the Gcam app for B and RAW images for A and C, then processed them in Lightroom.

What do you think?
