1. Mount the camera on a tripod.

2. Switch to manual focus, enable magnify and focus on a bright star. Best focus is when the star looks the smallest.

3. Start with a wide aperture, ISO at least 1600 and calculate shutter speed based on the 500 rule.

4. Take a shot, review on screen for underexposure, misfocus or star trails, adjust your settings and reshoot.

This should suffice for start.
