I prefer the LCD for careful composition. I can back off a few inches and view the image more as a picture, while an EVF or OVF hold my attention more to the center of the frame. This goes back to my film days when I often used view cameras for critical work. I always preferred looking at a screen to looking into a finder.

And of course an articulated LCD is a godsend for odd angles -- high, low, shooting sideways, stealth, and the like.

I will go the the EVF in bright sun of for following action, and being able to brace the camera against my face can help when using marginal shutter speeds.
