Pentax cameras and older Sigma lenses

Dear all,

there were some troubles with some older but often used Sigma leses when Pentax K1 came out

My colleagues use such a lens with K5. I gave them advise to search for a used K3 or K3ii. Now I realized that APS-C cameras may not be affected by this problem.

Do you know if there are problems with KP or K3iii if being used with Sigma lenses like the 70-200 mm f 2.8 zooms (I think last generation of this lenses for Pentax)?

Best regards

Holger
