Worth having?
3

Always been with Fuji but found Oly was better for travel. So sold Fuji. Then saw images from a Sony RX10 equivalent(Pany) so bought Sony version even tho' costs more. But is sharper. Am blown away as always thought bridge cameras were for "no hopers". But am well impressed with sharpness across the zoom range. Oly camera good for most things with Pro lenses but beginning to think that maybe my RX10 mk4 could replace the lot. Consider myself a pixel peecking expert and see few negatives about the Sony apart from its 1" sensor but with DXO PureRaw software, who cares! If using DXO software with Capture One have to make sure you zero sharpening and noise reductions as this has already been done in DXO software.

Have not tested it for sport but works well for insect macro, landscapes, flying aircraft and flying birds. Also static birds, with and without, feathers. I don't do low light photography as by then I am usually asleep.

The camera weighs a good kilo but so what. It is a price you have to pay for a "Jack of all Trades" camera.
