I hope they keep the same LCD flip in the M4 that’s in M3. Flip style is more about personal preference than an asset.

I think we reached the point of irreconcilable differences, those who love the flipping LCD and those who hate it. Either way Sony will lose some customers. The only solution to keep everybody happy is to release two versions of the same camera, or have an LCD as an attachment.

I didn’t like the tilt when I migrated from Canon to Sony to be honest. But when I discovered how useful it was for street photography and crowds I appreciate it much more. Canon has a fully articulated screen which seems to be the best of both worlds but it doesn’t feel rugged enough. And it’s kind of awkward to set in the right spot on the fly.
