Canon 100-400L V1 vs 150-600 3rd Party

Slower AF speed, better image quality for the Contemporary...

I had the chance to use a couple of 100-400mm L first gen and I owned the Sigma 150-600mm for a while.

From an image quality point of view, just having 600mm vs 400mm to put on a subject makes quite a lot of difference. Plus that the Sigma is as good if not better than the Canon in the 200-400mm range.

On the other hand, the AF was slow and the f6.3 at the tele end did not help.
