How did you find the quality of the video? It has been reported to be low but video is lower pixel count anyway.

OK for my purposes - trains, buildings and similar

Did you try side-by-side LR separate images and then use a stereo viewer? I think it might work well on a smart phone.

No.

I have been doing 3D stills but I'm interested in adding 3D video without a special TV or using special glasses.

In the UK, 3D HDTVs were very popular around 8-10 years ago - now, it seems to be 4K, and I do have two 4K capable video cameras, but as yet no 4K capable display.  I bought my 50" Panasonic TV 8 years ago, and quickly added a 3D Panasonic Blu-ray player, plus extra 3D specs.  I have the TV quite close, and I can easily see the difference between HD, and the standard definition used by 90% of the channels.

For a very short time, I could find enjoyable (to me) 3D Blu-ray DVDs, then I'd seen them all.  To me, "Avatar" was a waste of time, and I'm not looking forward to the eventual release of Avatar 2 or whatever.  I enjoyed the 3D "Alice" videos, but then I have the book.
