xf 27mm durabiility ?

I own xf 27mm 2.8 for a year now. I mainly picked it for its size rather than its focal length and for that purpose it has served me well so far.Lately, I changed the way i carry my gear so size isn't too much of an issue anymore (I can now carry any xf prime or small zoom).

I never had any issues with its durability so far and the photos it produces are awesome. What worries me is its longterm durability regarding its focusing mechanism and overall construction. I have read in threads (very few to be honest) that the mechanism can fail even if using a filter with a step up ring due to how it works.

So what i want to ask is opinions regarding replacing it with something like xf 35mm  (any version), viltrox 33mm or any other similar focal length just for longterm durability. Any of these focal lengths will serve my purpose so it is not a question about which one to pick based on focal length but on durability. Is there any "proof" that the above lenses are tougher and better built than xf 27mm ?
