Exactly! If you want to get something, you must loose something else. For me, for my style and how I shoot - Sony nailed it. Small and light glass but optically best or one of the best in class. Canon have some optically great RF glass but too big and too heavy for me. I don't want to carry such a big lens in my back. 
Nikon 50mm f1.2 is tremendously big. If you ask me, there is no optical performance that can justify that size.
