Re: Fitting Samsung GX10 to a microscope

You'll need to get an older monitor or TV screen with a video input for use in conjunction with your GX10, but even then I'm not sure it'll give you what you want as you'll only have a playback device for images you've already taken, not the option to view what the camera is currently looking at.

To achieve this functionality you'll need to update your camera to something more modern that has "live view" capability, which would normally be connected to a monitor or TV screen via an HDMI cable.

Even this may not be totally satisfactory, as the HDMI output from many cameras is not at particularly high resolution, so may not give you the level of detail on the screen you require.

Wi-fi connectivity to the camera from an appropriate device may also be an option, but again, you'll need to confirm the level of detail provided suits your purposes.

Some degree of research will probably be in order to ascertain that any purchase you consider will actually give you the functionality you require.

Good luck
