Re: Which EF to MFT Adapter with AF

I have the ordinary Metabones T-smart adapter for my Canon 400mm 5.6L, not the DO version, and I have the Oly M1i and the M1ii. I kept the lens when I sold my Canon stuff about 5 years ago with the change to mft. The focus is just not accurate enough nor predictable and caf almost works but is not at all usable. The firmware of the Metabones is up to date. Even with manual focus on the Canon lens, I get better results and sharper images from my Oly 70-300 and I don't have to mess about in post getting rid of colour fringing. The only reason I have not parted with the Canon lens is nostalgia. It just sits on a shelf. I know this is not your lens but the DO 400mm never had a good reputation and I hope my comments may be of interest.
