Price and size is similar to the 7-14 mm PRO

I owned the 7-14 for around 2 weeks, and my biggest problems with it were:

- The size. And this 8-25 doesn't seem that much smaller either. You might as well buy the 7-14 for its 2.8 aperture.

- field curvature is strong the 7-14. I will wait to see how's the 8-25.

- the overall look of an ultra wide angle on 4:3 aspect ratio. It just doesn't look as good as 3:2.

I'm still convinced the 7-14mm f/2.8 pro is a better deal than this 8-25mm f/4. Most people already have a lens that covers the 20-25mm range with a wider aperture. So on the wide end the 7-14mm is wider, brighter and probably cheaper as well.

For me the sheer bulkiness of the 8-25 makes it a no-go-lens. I wish Olympus woud release a 7mm or 8mm bright prime which would be smaller, like the Sony 14mm f/1.8 which is tiny for what it is.
