Re: Lens question for night photography

There aren't many lens choices for Canon for Astro believe it or not!

There's a tamron 35 1.4 that is supposed to be good. I have a Samyang 20 F1.8 but it wouldn't focus to infinity. I did a bit of surgery on it on the weekend and I think I improved it and it may end up being a nice lens. Cheapish as well.

Sigma Art 14, 28 and 40 have a good reputation. I have the 14. It shows a fiar bit of coma.

The old Nikon 14-24 F2.8 ED was one of the best.

Greg.
