i don't know anything about your physical state or your age or your genetic makeup, TOF, but speaking for myself, i am 72 and have been pretty active throughout my short life it doesn't take much (a little weightlifting or gardening) for me to get my arms back into shape, even at this age. however, i do believe in entropy (believe me) and genetic makeup of an individual.

if you exercise 5 days a week (you may have lost a lot of weight), i'd use a little heavier weights and perhaps more repetition, that should take correct the "noodle arms syndrome" issue. i am sure you know all this, already.

I wish it was that easy, and certainly w/o exercise my arms would be chewing gum at this stageĀ  , but age is age. A pro baseball pitcher, to take an example, does not throw as hard at 30 than at 26, and 35 vs. 30, etc. with a sharp decline after 30. You can't blame these guys for not exercising enough.
