I agree. When I'm going to shoot waterfalls in a place for the first time, I carry the three zoom lenses you mentioned (Canon equivalent) and my Canon R5 and R. The below was shot late last month near Burney, CA (and it was blowing snow on the road and then soaking rain in the falls area when we arrived).
