Issues with CANON IMAGEPROGRAF PRO-300 print quality

Hi guys.

We are having some issues with our new Canon PRO-300 printer. We cannot seem to get a consistent colour reproduction on all of our prints on A4 280GSM fibre matte inject paper.

As you can see from the image above the closes one to the photoshop design was the first one on the left (first ever print) using Printer Manages Colours. The colours are true representation and the quality is great. Any subsequent print using Photoshop or Printer managed profile seems washed out or grainy looking. Tried different ICC profiles, and paper types (Matte Photo Paper, Greeting Cards, Plain) but none of them seem to match the first ever print.

Should we be printing directly from photoshop or use different setting or print options?

Thanks for your help.
