In a word: you can't. C1 cannot be used as just a raw processor. Full stop.

Not true, I have used C1 for years in sessions only as you alluded to. That is using it as just a RAW processor and it's brilliant.

I'm no pro but I have tried a few different DAM programs working with C1 from Daminion, iMatch, Lightroom etc and currently i've settled on Mylio as it solves a few specific problems uniquely, mainly:

1. Backup of my images across all my devices

2. Access to my whole library on my phone/iPad/Mac etc and the ability to rate/tag/keyword anywhere even offline and have that sync across devices and to sidecar XMP files.

I didn't want to sit behind my computer sorting and tagging photos and I can now do that anywhere at anytime and open my selects in the C1 Session ready to start my edits.

It's not perfect but everything has compromises.

I also copy all my exports into Google Photos as another backup and to share with friends and family.
