I use Capture One in Session Mode only, and use Adobe Bridge or Photo Mechanic as DAM. If you want to see your Edits in a DAM, just export them, you would do that anyway at some point.

And why would you loose the benefits of the C1’s non-destructible raw edits? Only if you delete your raw files later on.

This old School workflow, is simple. Lets you move foders around and you can use mostly any image browser and your finder for management.

For cross App compatibility issues I will stay away from managed DAMs using catalogs, libraries …
