Paper for printing old map reproductions

Hi, I am going to try to print some old maps and posters from public domain sources like the David Rumsey collection. The paper of the originals has often turned yellow or even brown. I'm not quite sure how to print these - I would prefer to not put a lot of ink in areas of the paper where the original didn't have any ink at all. Simply adjusting the white balance and adjusting levels seems to help a lot. There will be some dirt, scratches and uneven lighting which I will not try to correct.

Can you recommend a paper to use for these kind of prints on the Canon Pro 300?
