Pink Moon

The recent "Pink Moon" was a disappointment for many, as it was admitted there wouldn't actually be any pink colours involved.

I knew my 40-150 wouldn't be close enough, so I set up a remote flash and shot our cherry blossoms, with back-light from the moon.
Manual pre-focus, using a flashlight to illuminate the target.

A few days later, when the blossoms were about done, I set up the flash in a white umbrella and shook the tree with a stick to make it snow.

I'm thinking of trying this with other flowers at night, as it gives an isolation that isn't possible in the day. A field of dandelion seed heads got me thinking, yesterday...
