SSD upgrade or processing power? Editing Performance
1

I need some more processing power for my video editing. I'm shooting a lot of 4k. My PC hates dealing with Phantom 4 footage (h264s) and could be better with my DNxHD Atomos material. It definitely hates my R5's h265 files, as it does everyones I guess.

How significant is it to have everything running off of SSD's for performance as opposed to upgrading processor, GPU etc? My PC hardware knowledge is limited.

Any recommendations? I'll spend where I have to to get some buttery editing. I'm using Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci. I think I've got room for one more SSD in the tower.

Power supply is Corsair TX650M
