Landscape astrophotography with star tracker ?

Hello,

I have seen people saying that for landscape astrophoto you have to take single exposure of foreground, and then multiple for example 60s exposures of the sky.

What i don't understand is, that if you turn on the tracker, you might get less and less sky on your images right ? Like foreground might start hiding sky, if that makes sense.

So how does the stacking software stack it if there isn't the same amount of foreground/sky 🤔 ?

Thanks in advance !
