Voigtlander all the way.

You start seeing bursts from light sources as early as f/1.2.

I routinely shoot at night with both the 17.5mm and 42.5mm lenses, usually settling on f/2, and you get magnificent stars.

edit: I do try to pop any of my manual lens shots into these respective albums on my Flickr page. Plenty of starbursts in there!
